Researcher at the Center for Environmental and Marine Technology (MARETEC), at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST-ID), University of Lisbon. The focus of his work is primarily on environmental impact assessments, life cycle analyses and environmental footprints (e.g., carbon, water) of products, services, companies, regions, policies and measures. Ricardo has a degree in Environmental Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico and PhD in Ecological-Environmental Economics from the Faculty of Science and Technology of Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
