Pedro is an advisor at ERSE, the Portuguese Energy Regulatory Authority. He has a PhD in Refining, Petrochemical, and Chemical Engineering, awarded in 2019 through a joint academia-industry program at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST). He also has an MSc in Chemical Engineering from IST, completed in 2013. His research focuses on process integration, particularly in heat integration and energy systems simulation.
