I am associate professor at the Instituto Superior Técnico, at the unit of Numerical and Applied Analysis. I teach different courses in the field of computational mathematics,including elementary courses for students in engineering and advanced courses for MSc and PhD Students in Mathematics. Recently my research is focused on the numerical approximation of the neural field equation, an integro-differential with important applications in Neuroscience .
