Abstract
This dissertation presents the state of art in ventilate façade where address since coatings fixation, thermal insulation and pathologies. The defined terms are very important to understand the correct work of the system and understand the benefits of this technical. Were also carried out laboratory tests ( humidity, capillarity, thermal conductivity, impact test) to conclude about the function of this kind of façade in situations of rain, wind and extreme impacts. With the laboratory test We can conclude that the system of ventilated façades with a coating of moleanos stone fixed indirectly to the wall with clinchers, with open joints between the panels, ventilated air space, and thermal coating, may present itself as a good solution for the construction of buildings since, as it was demonstrated in this experimental study, the humidity which reaches the supporting wall is insignificant. We can also conclude that XPS presents a lower value of capillarity than rockwool, it being for this reason expected that it has a better performance on site, tending to effectively keep water from entering the supporting wall, without losing its qualities of thermal resistance. Taking into consideration the fact that rockwool reveals lesser capillarity than XPS, there must be some care in avoiding it from being reached by the water that may eventually enter through the joints of the coating.
