Marija Vranic is Assistant Professor at IST, PI of SFPQ team. Her research is focused on plasmas in extreme conditions, where quantum effects can affect the collective plasma dynamics. She combines analytical theory and massively parallel computer simulations to test the concepts relevant for current and future experiments. Her team is also studying advanced computation techniques, in particular quantum algorithms.
