Susana Relvas is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Engineering and Management (DEG) of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon (UL), Portugal. She obtained her PhD in 2008 in Industrial Engineering and Management from IST. She is currently vice president of DEG, member of School Assembly of IST and Member of the Directive Board of the Portuguese Association of Operational Research (APDIO). She has been developing reviewer activities for many international journals, conference scientific committees and research projects. Her research interests are in Supply Chain Management, namely in the Oil Supply Chain, Biofuels Supply Chain, and Logistics Activities. She is currently supervising 5 PhD students and 10 MsC students. She was honored in 2010 with the scientific award for young researchers of the Technical University of Lisbon in the area of Industrial Engineering.
