Received his PhD under the MIT-Portugal program. 10+ years of teaching and research on the areas of product development, rapid prototyping and technology evaluation and selection. Leads the Lab2ProD – Laboratory for product development at IST, which he founded in 2017. Published 50+ papers on journals and conferences and 5 patents. Co-founder of FABINVENTORS, a start-up dedicated to 3D printing of large format polymer parts. Currently lectures courses in the areas of product design and development and additive manufacturing.
