Shuhao is a designer and researcher. He obtained his PhD in Digital Media at the Interactive Technologies Institute, Universidade de Lisboa, Portugal, and was an affiliated PhD student at CMU/HCII as part of CMU Portugal. His PhD research examines the evolving relationship between design activities and labour. He is an interdisciplinary design researcher who develops design approaches to pragmatically navigate the power dynamics that designers encounter within real-world organisational settings while addressing issues of social justice and sustainability.
