I am a MSc in Engenharia Biomédica from Universidade Nova de Lisboa since December 2017. Since then, I have been a Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), collaborating with the Centro de Ciências e Tecnologias Nucleares (C2TN) and Instituto de Plasmas e Fusão Nuclear (IPFN). I have been a PhD student at Instituto Superior Técnico since 2019. My main areas of work are Physical Sciences, mainly the subarea of Medical and Biological Physics, and Medical Engineering, namely the subarea of Radiology, Radiotherapy and Nuclear Medicine. Furthermore, I have acquired knowledge and skills in dosimetry, radiological protection and safety, medical physics, Monte Carlo methods and radiation inspection/monitoring. I have participated in projects both at national and international level. Throughout my career I have authored articles in peer-reviewed journals. I participated in several scientific conferences and events and presented my work both in poster and oral format.
