Completed the Doutoramento in naval architecture and Marine engineering in 2018/10/11by Universidade de Lisboa Instituto Superior Técnico, MSc and BSc in naval architecture and Marineengineering by Amirkabir University of Technology Department of Maritime Engineering. Is Postdoctoralresearcher: Hydrodynamics of Wave Energy Converters in Centro de Engenharia e Tecnologia Naval eOceanica. Published 17 articles in journals. Has 8 sections of books and 1 book. Has 1 patent registered. The number of citations related to the publication of him is 413 (Feb. 2022) and the corresponding H-index is 10,according to the Scopus. Organized 3 events. Participated in 5 events. Co-supervising 1 PhD thesis. Supervised1 MSc dissertation. Has received 3 awards and/or honors. Has more than 10 years of experience in the field ofmarine renewable energy. Developed a Wave Energy Converter (Shoreline Oscillating Water Column) thatgives more than 150% increased efficiency compared to similar devices. Devised a novel concept of FloatingWave Energy Converter (WEC) device with the significant improvement in the performance compared toother types of existing floating WEC devices. Experimentally tested and proved the Wave Energy Converterconcepts in collaboration with other research institutes and universities. Extensive experience in model testdesign (including design of the model, design of the experiments, procurement as well as setting-up of theappropriate instrumentation for the wave flume and wave tank tests) and analysing the experimental data(developing in-house codes to perform reflection analysis, motion characterises and hydrodynamicperformance investigations). Developed the numerical and analytical calculations for the Wave EnergyConverter design. Topic Editorial board of Energies Journal (Open Access Journal by MDPI) & Associate Editorin International Journal of Coastal and Offshore Engineering (IJCOE). Review Editor on the Editorial Board ofWave and Tidal Energy, Frontiers in Energy Research Journal. Member of Offshore Renewable EnergyCommittee in the International Ship and Offshore Structures (ISSC) Congress. Session Organizer InternationalConference on Ocean, Offshore & Arctic Engineering in 2019 and 2020. Reviewer of more than 20 Journals andInternational Conference Proceedings.
