Adjunct assistant professor at Instituto Superior Técnico with significant experience teaching courses on the undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervising students and junior researchers. Senior researcher at CENTEC/IST, leader of the Marine Environment group, worked in several Portuguese state Institutes, IH, IPMA, INETI being integrated into several national and international research projects. Principal investigator in three nationally funded research projects. Published 21 research papers, 16 book chapters and 14 conference papers. Presently hired by IST under “norma transitória do decreto-lei nº 57/2016, de 29 de agosto” (2018-2024).
