I have a degree in Mining Engineering (1990), Master in Mineralurgy and Mine Planning (1993) and PhD in Mining Engineering (1999), degrees awarded by the Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa (IST / ULisboa). My main field of expertize is geostatistics applied to different fields of Earth Sciences and Environment. Since 2013 I am Associate Professor at IST / ULisboa and President of CERENA - Centro de Recursos Naturais e Ambiente. Since 2016 I'm coordinator of the Master in Petroleum Engineering .
