Diana Marques is an IST Bioengineering PhD student who has a Master's degree in Biotechnology. Her scientific interests are in sustainable food tech systems. She is focused on developing novel strategies to produce cell-cultured fish. In her master's thesis, Diana developed novel edible vegan bioinks for 3D bioprinting. After that, she continued her research working on the project Algae2Fish, to produce cultivated fish fillets. Diana is the co-founder of "The University of Lisbon Alt Protein Project" and executive Director CellAgri Portugal.
