I am a hard working, highly motivated PhD student in Physics at the Universidade de Lisboa - Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), supported by an IDPASC PT-CERN PhD Grant. My work is focused on the phenomenological study of Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), describing the behavior of quarks and gluons, namely hadronization and quark-gluon plasma physics. With a strong foundation in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Programming, I hold both a BSc and MSc in Engineering Physics, completing five years of rigorous academic training. Furthermore, I am currently enrolled in the third year of my PhD, marked by the successful completion of several PhD courses and attendence of advanced training programs in Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology. I have also independently learned how to program in Kotlin for mobile app development and video editing for science communication, producing an outreach video about my Msc thesis. My research experience includes an internship and two research fellowships at the Laboratory of Instrumentation and Experimental Particle Physics (LIP). I had the privilege of sharing my PhD research through talks and poster presentations at international workshops, seminars, and conferences, as well as through several publications in high-impact scientific journals. Furthermore, I supervised the research activities of students during the LIP Internship Program 2025, giving me experience in leadership towards the achievement of scientific goals.
