Jorge João is currently a researcher at Delox and recently completed his PhD in Biotechnology and Biosciences at Instituto Superior Técnico - University of Lisbon. During his academic journey, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences from the University of Lisbon and a Master's in Biotechnology from Instituto Superior Técnico - University of Lisbon. During his PhD, he developed strong skills in bioprocessing, focusing on both upstream and downstream approaches for the production and purification of non-viral protein nanocages. At Delox, he applies his expertise in microbiology and molecular biology to advance innovative bio-decontamination solutions. He is driven by the intersection of scientific innovation and practical application and enjoys turning complex ideas into scalable solutions, whether in academic research or corporate environments.
