Graduated in Applied Physics by the University of Porto, and received her PhD in Physics by the same institution, on the topic of fabrication and characterization of magnetic nanowires and antidots grown using nanoporous alumina templates. Currently she is researcher at INESC-MN and an Invited assistant professor at the Physics Department (IST-Lisbon). Her research interests include the development and optimization of nanofabrication processes, electron beam lithography, the fabrication of nanoscale magnetoresistive sensors, and magnetic and magnetotransport characterization of nanostructures and nanodevices.
