Completed his M.S. in Engineering Physics in 2008 and his PhD in Physics in 2014 at the University of Lisbon. From 2008 to 2015 he worked at the Campus Tecnológico e Nuclear of IST and at CERN, developing competences in radiation physics, radiological protection and nuclear engineering of accelerator-driven systems and fusion reactors. He joined IPFN as Invited Auxiliary Researcher on September 2015, and since then he is responsible for nuclear analyses and integration studies for ITER and DEMO.
