João Carlos Silva (JCS) is an Assistant Researcher (FCT Tenure) at SCERG-iBB, leading the Biomimetic and Functional Regenerative Biomaterials Lab, and Invited Assistant Professor at IST. Hewas awarded an FCT CEEC Junior Researcher contract and a MSCA Postdoc Fellowship at Politecnico di Torino. He holds a PhD (2019) and MSc (2013) in Bioengineering from IST. JCS was a visiting researcher at RPI (USA) and a research assistant at 3B’s – University of Minho.
