Holds a Degree and MSc. in mechanical engineering and is currently a PhD. student in the field of autonomous ocean observation systems for ships in the CENTEC of Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal. While at CENTEC for several years developed work in the implementation of instrumentation, data acquisition and processing for guidance, navigation and control, and manoeuvrability of scaled vessel models. Also developed research on modelling and optimization of offshore wind systems reliability and maintenance.
