Claudia Sousa Monteiro concluded her Masters in Architecture in 2010 in Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. She enrolled the PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems of the the MIT Portugal Program in 2013 and currently she is working as a researcher at IN+, Center for Innovation, Technology and Policy Research in two research projects: SusCity and Sharing Cities. Her main research topic is the development of methodologies for urban building energy modeling (UBEM) towards the development of decision support tools for a sustainable urban planning and energy reduction in cities.
