Hugo Castro Silva is a tenure-track assistant professor at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), Universidade de Lisboa and a researcher at CEGIST. Hugo received a PhD with honors in Engineering and Management and an MSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from IST. His research work is on the Economics of Technological Change with a special interest on the relationship between technology and human capital. His research work has been published in outlets suchs as Research Policy, Journal of Business Venturing, and Small Business Economics.
