Biografia completa

Hugo obtained his PhD at Técnico, in 2011, and moved to Institut Pascal (Clermont-Ferrand, France) as a ITN Marie Curie fellow to work on exciton-polariton condensates. In 2014, he moved to the Institute of Quantum Optics and Quantum Information (Innsbruck, Austria) to investigate quantum optics and cold atoms. Hugo interests comprises cold atoms, condensed-matter and quantum plasmas systems, and quantum technologies. In particular, he is interested in the description of complex behaviour in low-dimensional systems (graphene plasmas, Bose-Einstein condesates) with applications in quantum technologies.
