BSc, Chemical Engineering, IST, 1989; PhD, Biotechnology, IST, 1997; Tenure as Assistant Professor, 2002 Over the years, I lectured and coordinated various disciplines (Proteins and Enzymes, Cell/Tissue Engineering, Biomolecular Engineering, Purification Processes of Biomolecules, Enzyme Engineering, Biological Engineering Laboratory, Outreach and Teaching Skills) to students in different BSc, MSc and doctoral programs. I have participated in or leading research projects in my scientific trust areas, and supervised several BSc, MSc, and PhD theses.

Biomolecular Engineering: Biomimetics; combinatorial approaches; molecular recognition; synthetic mimic affinity ligands for identification, separation and stabilization of biomolecules (antibodies, enzymes, plasmid DNA) ; Immunorecognition.
