Atualmente Professor Coordenador com Agregação no Departamento de Engenharia Química do ISEL, Coordenador do Grupo Disciplinar de Tecnologia Química. Vice-presidente do ISEL para a área científica e de internacionalização. Investigador integrado do CERENA – Centro de Recursos Naturais e Ambiente, IST/UL (desde 2006).
