Holds a bachelor’s degree in Geology and a master’s degree in Geosciences where she specialized in the Valorization of Geological Resources, both from Universidade do Minho. Her thesis dissertation entitled: “Evidence and descriptive analysis of portuguese exotic lithotypes with ornamental aptitude” was conducted in partnership with companies in the Ornamental Stone Sector. In October 2021 she was awarded with a PhD scholarship from CERENA's Strategic Project funded by FCT to study the vulnerability of Portuguese stone to high temperatures. In 2026, she finished her PhD in Earth Resources with distinction and honours.
