Beatriz Cassuriaga is a researcher at the Centre for Management Studies at Instituto Superior Técnico(CEG-IST). She holds a degree in Production Engineering from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RIO) in 2005 and reached her MBA Certificate in 2012 from Faculdade de Economia e Finanças IBMEC. Beatriz has worked in large and small management consultancies in the Utilities, Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy sectors. She completed her Master's in Production Engineering in 2020 at PUC-RIO and is pursuing her PhD in Engineering and Management at Instituto Superior Técnico, Universidade de Lisboa. She is focused on exploring the social sustainability area. In addition to her academic and professional accomplishments, Beatriz has also participated in two projects as a PhD student fellow, which focused on Social Life Cycle Assessment methodologies, resulting in two presentations at international conferences. Her research and contributions have helped advance knowledge in this imperative study area.
