I am a PhD Candidate in Sustainable Energy Systems and Mechanical Engineer with a strong focus on carbon accounting, energy systems, and climate mitigation. My research focuses on developing decision-support tools to assess the real impact of decarbonization strategies, integrating emissions across full value chains and supporting the transition to Net-Zero energy systems. Alongside my academic work, I actively work in building services design, contributing across the full range of technical specialties, including HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and other building technical infrastructures. This experience provides me with a comprehensive and practical understanding of buildings as integrated energy and technical systems. My work and interests are centered on sustainable energy systems, carbon footprint modelling, including Scope 3 emissions, climate mitigation strategies, building energy performance, and the development of decision-support tools to support effective decarbonization. I am particularly motivated to bridge the gap between research and real-world implementation, developing practical solutions that support organizations, cities, and public entities in making informed and effective climate decisions. My long-term goal is to contribute to the development of scalable tools and systems that accelerate the transition towards carbon-neutral energy systems.
