CEAFEL, is a research center devoted to fundamental research in the areas of Functional Analysis, Group Representation Theory, Matrix Theory and Linear Systems. Applications to Physics and Engineering of some of the previous topics are also research interests of the Center. CEAFEL is a research unit of Instituto Superior Técnico with a branch at Faculty of Sciences. The Center is organized into two groups: The Group for Functional Analysis and the Group for Linear, Algebraic and Combinatorial Structures. O centro foi extinto a 31 de dezembro de 2023.
