I hold a Dr. -Ing in Mechanical Engineering from Institute for Fluid Dynamics and Ship Theory, Hamburg University of Technology, Germany. My research during this period focused on developing a new type of marine current turbine that harnesses additional power through induced motion. As part of my Ph.D. program, I dedicated myself to conducting in-depth research on the latest advancements in tidal energy technology. I developed a framework for modeling and control of floating-type marine current turbines and designed a novel marine current turbine that can maximize power output by capturing additional energy through induced motion. Throughout my academic career, I have demonstrated a keen interest in renewable energy technologies and their applications.
