Alain de Souza is an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from UNESP and M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Space Engineering from INPE, Brazil. His research interests include flight dynamics, system identification, aeroelasticity, rocket propulsion, spacecraft systems, and multidisciplinary design optimization.
