Miguel Amado (1959) joined the Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) of Universidade de Lisboa in January 2016 as career Associate Professor of Architecture of DECivil; Amado received his BSc in Architecture from Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade Técnica de Lisboa and a MSc in Spatial Planning and Environmental Planning and his PhD of Environment Sciences from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and its Habilitation in Architecture from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) of Universidade de Lisboa.
