Júlio Henriques, born in Lisbon, Portugal, holds a degree in Engineering Physics (FCT-NOVA, 1995), a Master's degree in Physics (IST-UTL, 1998), and a PhD in Engineering Physics (IST-UTL, 2002). Since 2006, he has been a researcher at IPFN-IST, focusing on developing plasma technologies with applications in ecology, biomedicine, nanomaterials, agriculture, and hydrogen production. Currently, he is involved in ecologically-friendly fertilizer production using plasma technology.
