Tiago A. Santos graduated as a naval architect in 1995 at IST. In 1999 he completed his Master Degree at the University of Glasgow, United Kingdom. In 2007 he obtained the degree of Doctor in Naval Architecture from Instituto Superior Técnico, Technical University of Lisbon, Portugal. Since 2015 Tiago A. Santos has been an Assistant Professor and since 2023 he has been an Associate Professor. He is a researcher at the Center for Maritime Technology and Ocean Engineering (CENTEC), Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon, Portugal, since 1996.
