João Luzio received a M.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon, in 2023. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in IST, University of Lisbon, conducting research at the Computer and Robot Vision Laboratory (VisLab) of the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR|Lisbon). His research combines machine learning, computer vision, biologically-inspired attention mechanisms for human scanpath prediction, and active perception in robotics.
