Yohanes Nietiadi received a B.S. degree in Physics from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), Indonesia in 2011 and an M.S. in Nuclear Engineering in 2015 at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), the Republic of Korea with RCA-KAIST scholarship. During his study at KAIST, he developed competencies in thermal analysis using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). In 2017 he joined APPLAuSE program of IPFN and graduated in 2022. His research now is about the thermal-structural analysis of reflectometry systems for ITER and DEMO. His works aim at estimating the impact of long-term irradiation on the reflectometry diagnostic systems taking into account nuclear heat loads, operation temperatures, and interface loads.
