Research scientist funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) and Principal Investigator on nuclear fusion related projects and advanced computing grants. Previously, Humboldt Foundation Fellow carrying research at the Max-Planck Institute, Greifswald, Germany. From 2019 to 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Maryland, College Park, USA. During my PhD at EPFL, Switzerland, and IST, Portugal, I worked on linear modes and turbulence present at the edge of nuclear fusion reactors.
