I graduated from Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, with a degree in Marine Sciences - Physical Oceanography. I have a MSc degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, from the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of de Lisboan and I’m currently doing my PhD on Climate Change while working as a Research Assistant at Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering – CENTEC (IST), working mostly with numerical wave models.

Academic background: I graduated from Universidade Lusófona de Humanidades e Tecnologias, in 2008, with a degree in Marine Sciences - Physical Oceanography. A MSc degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, in 2017, from the Instituto Superior Técnico, University of de Lisboan. Work experience: I work as a Research Assistant at Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering -CENTEC, working mostly with numerical wave models (WRF, WW3, WAM, SWAN, STWAVE). Studding the characteristics of the marine environment, physical descriptions of the environmental processes that develop in the ocean, mathematical and physical modelling of waves, with more emphasis placed on the study of waves. In this period, I succeeded to publish many scientific works, and presented several works in various international and national conferences.
