Daniel Simões Lopes is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science & Engineering at Técnico Lisboa, and Integrated Researcher at ITI/LARSyS where he carries research in Computer Graphics and Human-Computer Interaction. He is the author of over 50 scientific articles published in international journals, conference proceedings and book chapters. His main research interests are collision detection, motion processing, extended reality, and medical interfaces. At the educational level, he teaches Computer Graphics and Virtual Reality courses.
