Yordan Garbatov is Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisbon (UL). He has a PhD in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Lisbon. He is President of the Research Centre for Marine Technology and Ocean Engineering (CENTEC) of IST and Head of the Academic Unit of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST).
