The professor has developed his professional activity in the area of synthesis, processing and characterization of advanced materials, in particular composite materials with metallic matrix and ceramics. He highlights his contribution to the processing of materials by heating using concentrated solar energy and to the performance evaluation of diamond tools for the ornamental stone sector. The professor was a pioneer - at national level - in the application of concentrated solar energy in the synthesis and processing of materials.
