I went to university at IST - Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon, where I got my degrees: 1994 - 5-year degree in Software and Computer Engineering 1997 - MSc in Electrical and Computers Engineering, with a thesis on "Permissive Belief Revision" 2007 - PhD in Computer Science, with a thesis on "Improving Methods for Single-label Text Categorization" I also taught at IST between 1992 and 2014, mainly subjects for the BSc and MSc in Computer Science and Engineering.
