J. Sanches (JS) is Full Professor at the Department of Bioengineering from the IST, Universidade de Lisboa and he is a senior researcher at the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR). His work has been focused on statistical signal and image processing of biomedical data mainly for Cancer diagnosis and Telemedicine applications in Mental Health. JS published approximately 200 international publications (ORCID and Google Scholar). He is senior member of the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS).
