Paulo Peças has a doctorate in Mechanical Engineering at Instituto Superior Técnico (University of Lisbon). He is an Associated Professor at IST in the Manufacturing Technologies & Industrial Management scientific area. During the last ten years has participated and integrated coordination teams of R&DT projects at both national and European levels. The research activity has focused the development of models to support decision-making, comparative analysis and best-practices implementation in the scope of Life Cycle Engineering and lean & agile manufacturing. He has a large number of scientific and technical publications in national and international conferences and journals.
