Licenciada em Engª Geológica e Mestre em Geoquímica pela Univ. de Aveiro. Doutorada em Engª de Minas pelo Instituto Superior Técnico/Univ. de Lisboa. Docente no Departª de Engenharia de Recursos Minerais e Energéticos. Investigadora do Centro de Recursos Naturais e Ambiente na área da Geoquímica Ambiental e sua interação com a Saúde, envolvendo a assinatura geoquímica de águas superficiais/subterrâneas, solos e plantas em estudos de monitorização/impacto/risco em ambiente mineiro/agrícola/industrial e de águas minerais naturais e benefícios para a saúde.
