I am Full Professor at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), University of Lisboa (ULisboa), Portugal, where I hold a Joint Appointment position with the Department of Physics and the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Engineering. I am a senior researcher at LIP where I am group leader of the theoretical nuclear/hadron physics group NPSTRONG. I also collaborate with members of the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Engineering of IST on applications of nuclear radiation and ion beam techniques.
