Diretor Geral do Ensino Superior do Ministério de Educação, 1986-89. Administrador da Quimigal SA, 1989-1997. Administrador da CUF-SGPS, 1997-2007. Professor Catedrático desde 2004. Coordenador do GNIP desde 1995. Vice-Chair do TCP-IETS/AIE desde 2012. Sócio-Gerente da Clemente Nunes Lda desde 2007. Membro da Academia de Engenharia. Membro Conselheiro da Ordem dos Engenheiros.
