I am a PhD student in Mechanical Engineering at IN+ and an enthusiast of experimental fluid mechanics. My work as PhD student is focused on diagnosis methods for three-dimensional characterization of cardiovascular flows using defocus particle tracking. During this journey, I have addressed fundamental aspects of DPT, as well as microcirculation phenomena and the flow in large arteries. In long term, my work is foreseen as a powerful, engineering tool that will aid the understanding of cardiovascular diseases: One of the largest causes of death globally.
